INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODEL

25654 PROXIMITY SWITCHES

1. Select the appropriate section of the divider valve on which the proximity switch

is to be mounted.

2. Ensure that divider valve is relieved of all pressure.

3. Remove the piston plug from divider valve.

4. Loosen (2) ¼”-20 UNC setscrews in proximity switch housing and remove magnet

holder assembly.

5. Install proximity switch magnet holder assembly into divider valve piston plug

connection.

6. Slide proximity switch housing over magnet holder assembly, but do not tighten

setscrews.

7. Connect an ohm meter across the two white switch leads exiting ½” NPT

proximity switch conduit connection.

8. Cycle divider valve piston and check ohm meter to see if reed switch actuates.

9. Adjustment is made by sliding proximity switch housing gradually until ohm

meter indicates that switch is making and breaking contact.

10. Tighten switch housing setscrews and recheck switch actuation by cycling

divider block piston.
